Ask on day one and you get real fares for real dates, with the search query shown so you can verify it.
Will they book my trip for me?
No, and that's deliberate. They research, price, compare, and hand you a booking plan with real links. You make the booking. Nothing is charged to a card by an agent, ever.
How do they know about my points?
You tell them which programs you collect in, and they remember it. Connect Gmail and your points optimizer can also rebuild your balances from program statements sitting in your inbox. Award seat availability still has to be confirmed in the airline's own search, and your agents will say so rather than pretend they can see inventory they can't.
