How to Share What Your AI Knows With Your Team
Everyone on your team has a smart assistant. Nobody has a shared one. Connect them all to the same agent team and your Claude can finally ask what your partner's ChatGPT knows.
The short version: everything you've told ChatGPT lives in ChatGPT. Everything your business partner told Claude lives in Claude. Neither one knows what the other knows. Connect both to the same myAgents team and that changes. Your assistant can tell the team something, and it can ask the team a question. The agents hold the shared context, and they do the work with it.
Your context is stuck in your chat
Months of conversations. Your clients, your pricing, the way you like things written. It's genuinely useful, and it lives inside one person's account.
When a coworker needs it, you copy, paste, screenshot, forward. Or you explain it all again. Now multiply that by everyone on the team. Everyone has a smart assistant. Nobody has a shared one.
How it works
Every myAgents team keeps a shared context: one document every agent reads on every run. It holds the team's standing instructions plus a Notes & preferences section that grows as people tell the team things. Members can open it any time from the team's Context card, edit it, and delete anything stale.
Once you connect your assistant with read and act access (read only won't do: it can watch the team, not talk to it), it gets two new moves:
- Tell the team. "We're raising prices 10% in January." Your assistant records it as one sentence in Notes & preferences. Every agent sees it on its next run.
- Ask the team. "What did we agree with Acme?" Your assistant picks the agent whose job fits, messages it, and brings back the answer. That agent answers from the shared context, including whatever your teammates added from their own assistants.
You don't have to teach your assistant any of this. The connector tells every connected assistant how it works: ask the right agent, wait for the reply, record what you want the team to know.
A week with two assistants
Sam and Priya run a small design studio together. Sam lives in Claude. Priya lives in ChatGPT.
Monday, Priya tells ChatGPT the new rate card starts in January. ChatGPT offers to share that with the team. Priya says yes. One line lands in the team's notes.
Tuesday, Sam asks Claude to get a renewal quote going for Acme. Claude asks the team's account agent what the current rates are. The agent already knows about January, because Priya told the team yesterday. Claude hands the job to the agent. The agent drafts the quote at the new rate. The draft lands in Sam's inbox. Sam reads it and sends it.
Nobody forwarded a screenshot. Nobody explained the rate card twice. Two assistants that have never met just worked off the same page.
What it is, and what it isn't
- It's not a memory sync. Your assistant doesn't upload your chat history. It adds the specific facts you choose, one sentence at a time.
- Asking gets you an answer, not a dump. The agent answers your question from the shared context. Want to read the whole thing? Open the Context card in the app.

Frequently asked questions
- Can I share my ChatGPT or Claude memory with a coworker?
- Not as a raw memory export, but you can share the parts that matter. Connect your assistant to a myAgents team and it can record a fact to the team's shared context, one sentence at a time. Your coworker's assistant, connected to the same team, can then ask the team's agents about it.
- Does my coworker need to use the same AI assistant as me?
- No. Claude, ChatGPT, the Gemini CLI (not the Gemini app, which can't add connectors yet), and Meta Muse all connect to the same team through the same open standard (MCP). One of you can use Claude and the other ChatGPT. The shared context lives in the team, not in either assistant.
- Does asking the team cost anything?
- Asking a question wakes an agent, which is a real run. On a metered plan it uses credits and is itemized like any other run; on a flat-rate plan it's included. Recording a fact to the shared context is free.
- Can my assistant read the whole shared context?
- Not directly. It asks an agent, and the agent answers from the shared context. To read or edit the full document yourself, open your team's Context card in the app (members can; viewers can't).
- What stops my assistant from sharing something private?
- It's told to record only what you ask it to share or agree to when it offers. That's guidance to the assistant, not a hard lock, so every note sits in the team's Context card, where any member can edit or delete it at any time.
