How to Connect Claude to Google Calendar
Ask Claude what your week looks like and have the event on the calendar before the coffee is done. An agent holds the connection, across as many calendars as you connect.
You can have Claude working with Google Calendar in about ten minutes, and you don't have to build or babysit an MCP server to get there. The practical route is a middle layer: connect Google Calendar to myAgents, connect Claude to myAgents, and ask for what you want in plain language. A persistent agent holds the Google Calendar connection, does the work, and reports back to the chat you already use.
Doesn't Claude already connect to Google Calendar?
It does. Claude's connector directory has an official Google Calendar connector you can switch on in Claude's settings. For questions in a chat, and on plans with scheduled tasks for simple recurring jobs too, it is a genuinely good tool. We'd point you to it even if we sold nothing.
What myAgents adds is the shape of a team, not a feature toggle. Each agent is a role with its own skill and only the Google Calendar access you chose to grant it. Every run is logged and itemized. Outward permissions are per channel and per agent: some actions queue for your approval, others run as soon as you grant them, and nothing widens on its own. And agents hand work to each other, so the Google Calendar work connects to the rest of your back office instead of living in one assistant's thread. A personal assistant and a staffed office are both useful. They are not the same thing.
The three-step setup
- Connect Google Calendar to myAgents. Hire an agent (it takes a couple of minutes), then link Google Calendar from the Connections page. You choose exactly which agents get access.
- Connect Claude to myAgents. On claude.ai: Settings, then Connectors, then add myAgents as a custom connector and approve it. The full walkthrough covers Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT, and Gemini too.
- Ask. From Claude you can check on your team, hand work to an agent, and pull up the results. The agent does the Google Calendar work on its side; ask Claude to check in and it reads the reply back to you, or open myAgents and see it there.
What your agent can do in Google Calendar
Your agent reads and creates events. You can connect multiple Google accounts, so one agent sees the personal calendar, the family calendar, and the kids' schedules side by side, and spots the conflict before Saturday does.
What people actually use it for
A Sunday-evening week preview. A standing block that gets rescheduled around real conflicts. One question, which evening is actually free, answered across three calendars at once.
Where this goes next
One agent with one connection is the starting point. The same team can hold your other tools, work them on its own schedule, and keep a log of everything it did, so the Google Calendar agent is usually the first hire, not the last.
Hiring the team takes a couple of minutes and starts with free credits to try it, then from $25 a month. You stay the boss. The busywork stops being yours.
Try it on your own work
Hire your first team in about two minutes. $10 in free credits, no credit card required.
Frequently asked questions
- Can Claude connect with Google Calendar?
- Claude's connector directory has an official Google Calendar connector you can switch on in Claude's settings. That covers checking and changing your calendar from a chat. Connect Calendar to myAgents when you want the scheduling handled for you: an agent that previews the week and works across every calendar you connect, on its own schedule.
- Can it see more than one calendar?
- Yes. Connect multiple Google accounts and the agent works across all of them, which is where most scheduling pain actually lives.
- Do events get created without me?
- Event creation happens when you ask for it or when an agent you scheduled does its job. Every agent action is logged, so you always see what was created and why.
